Monthly rentals in Vietnam can include separate deposit, prepaid rent, management fees, electricity, water, and internet costs. Two listings with the same rent may require very different first-month cash.

Cost terms explained
- Deposit: money returned after the lease if contract conditions are met.
- Prepaid rent: how many months of rent are paid in advance.
- Management fee: building management, facilities, security, and common areas.
- Electricity and water: building rate or government rate can differ.
- Internet: may be included or require separate setup.
Questions to ask before consultation
Ask how much cash is needed for the first month, how the deposit is returned, and what fixed monthly costs should be expected.
